SMALL PARTICLE REAGENT

Small particle reagent technique is a means to develop latent fingermarks on wet, non-porous surfaces including glass, plastic, metals and adhesive sides of tape. The method is based on the adherence of fine particles of treating solution to the oily or fatty components of latent fingermark residues. Small particle reagent technique is convenient, efficient and cost-effective method to develop latent fingermarks on wide range of substrates of forensic importance.
Available Variants: Dark, Light & Fluorescent

• Shake container well before use.
• If being used outside during rain, shelter the area to be treated from direct rain fall.
• Spray area to be examined starting at the top and working downwards.
• If signs of fingerprint development appear, continue spraying just above the relevant area until there is no
  more build up to the deposit.
• As solution drain away, powder will be left adhering to the surface.
• Remove excess powder from developed fingerprints by spraying water gently above the developed
  fingerprints with a second spray of clean water
• The water will drain away carrying with it the excess powder.
• Do not spray the developed fingerprints directly as this may damage them.
• Allow surface to dry. The developed fingerprints are very easily get damaged. These prints are visible
  through naked eye. They either should be photographed immediately or can be lifted through fingerprint
  lifting tape.

• 3.Nitrile gloves and face mask are also advisable to prevent allergic skin reaction.
• 4.If any chemical or liquid is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
• 5.If any chemical and liquid is splashed into the eyes, wash it out with cold running water and seek medical attention.
• 6.If any chemical is spilled onto the skin brush it off while dry with a tissue or a cloth

Iodine Kit

Iodine processing is used to develop prints that contain oils and fatty deposits. Iodine has been shown to be very useful on fresh prints found on porous surfaces such as paper and cardboard. Iodine fumes will produce a temporary yellow-brown print. Prints must be fixed immediately after processing because they will begin to fade. Always remember to photograph the developed prints.

Ninhydrin Kit and Spray

Ninhydrin is used for the development of latent fingerprint on porous surfaces such as paper, cardboard, and currency. This makes it an excellent choice for using on bad checks, letters, and suspected drug records. Ninhydrin produces a colored image ranging from orange to purple. Development can be accelerated by heat and humidifying the evidence.

Cyanoacrylate Fuming Gun Kit

This is a portable, hand held heat generator that instantly develops fingerprints on non-porus surfaces, including plastic, metal, enamel, varnished wood surfaces, cellophane, foils, plastic-coated papers and glass. Fitted with cartridges of ethyl Cyanoacrylate, also known as super glue. The wand heats the cartridge, which emits a vapor for fuming surface for latent prints. As a result latent print form a hard white substance, which can subsequently by dusted with fingerprint powder before lifting.
